Check http://www.nuriaoliver.com for further information My research interests include artificial intelligence, mobile computing, personal and big data analysis, context awareness, health monitoring, computational social sciences, and human computer interaction. I have worked and am currently working on the previous disciplines to build human-centric intelligent systems and improve the word through technological research and innovation. I have written over 180 scientific papers and book chapters. My work has been widely recognized by the scientific community with over 15800 citations. I have 41 patent applications and granted patents. For awards, see the awards section. I am in the program committee and a reviewer of the main conferences in my research areas. I have held 18 co-chair roles in top-tier conferences in my field. I regularly give invited talks both for scientific and the general public. I have served/serve as an advisor to several European universities, the World Economic Forum, the European Commission, the Spanish and Valencian Governments, the Gadea Foundation, the Digital Future Society, Mahindra Comviva and the Vodafone Institute. I am very interested in making science available to the general public. I have written for newspapers such as EL PAIS and The Guardian. My work has been featured hundreds of times on newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations both in Spain and internationally. I have been named a technology leader in Spain (El Mundo, 2019); a pioneer in upper management (EL PAIS, 2018); the fifth most influential female in Big Data in the world by Onalytica (2017); one of the top 11 Artificial Intelligence influencers worldwide by PioneeringMinds (2017); one of Spain's wonderful minds in technology (EL PAIS, 2017); a female pioneer in high level management (EL PAIS, 2018); one of the ''13 young women with most influence in Spain'' and a remarkable scientist (Mujer Hoy magazine, 2012 and 2010) among other distinctions.
